1. About the Software

AWoWLab is a local-first desktop application. The Software runs entirely on your computer and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to any external servers. All processing occurs locally on your device.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms of Use, AWoWLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the AWoWLab software application ("Software") for personal, non-commercial purposes.

For clarity, "non-commercial" includes personal gameplay analysis, raid review, coaching within a guild, and streaming, provided no separate fee is charged specifically for use of the Software.

This license does not include the right to:

  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law
  • Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Software to third parties
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software

3. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. AWoWLab may terminate this license immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession.

4. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to use the Software to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Violate the terms of service of World of Warcraft or Blizzard Entertainment
  • Use the Software for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

5. Intellectual Property

The Software and all associated intellectual property rights are and shall remain the property of AWoWLab. These Terms do not grant you any rights to trademarks, service marks, or logos used in connection with the Software.

World of Warcraft and related content are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. AWoWLab is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AWoWLab disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of combat log visualizations

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AWOWLAB BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Software
  • Any errors, bugs, or inaccuracies in the Software
  • Any damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting from your use of the Software
  • Any third-party actions related to your use of the Software

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AWoWLab and its creators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the Software
  • Your violation of these Terms of Use
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
  • Any claim that your use of the Software caused damage to a third party

9. Modifications to Terms

AWoWLab reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Software after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
